MARY OMG

If you’ve seen the art piece YOLO, then you will no doubt realize that this piece, Mary “OMG”, is the second installment in the series. As with many so many of our themes, this one included, if I can play with words or terms and their meanings, I always will! 

In this case, it seemed like a fun challenge to highlight something that we might not give too much attention to otherwise. How often do we hear the term “Oh My God” or “OMG” in our daily life and conversations? What better way to poke fun at the term than to imagine how the conversation must have went between Mary and Joseph. “Joseph, I’m pregnant!” “OMG!”
