PRICEDLESS

We exhibited in Miami Art Basel Week in 2019 . During that period of time , there happened to be a banana that sold for 250 THOUSAND DOLLARS. Yes you read that correctly . 250 k . Amazing yes ? Who has that kind of money to burn ? Or actually EAT. Because once the banana was sold , the person who bought it , ate it . Talk about an expensive meal . The piece was entitled THE COMEDIAN and to this day I am NOT sure who the actual joke was on . Suffice it to say we created this tribute piece called PRICEDLESS because the value of art apparently is only in the amount someone is willing to pay for it , no matter what the subject matter is . Hmmmmm . Food for thought.
